I borrowed this book from my local library–I always like to preview wedding flower books before I buy them. I won’t be buying this one.
First, let me say that I’m a professional florist. For a bride considering doing her own flowers, there isn’t enough detail here to complete the task. This book might be a good overview, but would definitely need to be followed up with more detailed instructions. The photo quality is hit and miss, as is the flower quality in the photos. I wouldn’t use this book in a consultation with a bride. But if you’re just looking for an overview of all of your options for the use of flowers in a wedding, as well as some ideas for design schemes, this book would be useful.

The book has beautiful pictures and wonderful ideas. I wish it would identify all flowers and amounts used in the boquets.
I thought it might be more of an instructional book. It is a good reference.
