Board book with light and sound chips. My First Family Photo Album is the first in a series of seasonal keepsake photo albums for you and your child to read and share together. My daughter got this as a gift when she was 7 months old and is now 18 months old and still loves to look at it. She see’s new things on the pages everyday. At first it was just recognizing the faces in the photos and now she’s recognizing the little animal drawings in the book. Soon, I’m sure she’ll be interested in the actual story it tells.
My only frown was how hard the clicker is to push for make it flash. She’s getting the hang of it, but still needs a little help here and there.

I looked at several different books to show pictures of family and I think this one is the best. The book is a cute story about a dog and his family. There are pockets to add pictures of your own family on each page. The other post complained about only one space for pictures, however, I just created small collages of pictures (on my computer using digital pictures) that fit into the pocket for pages where I wanted to show more than one person. Worked out great and was very simple to do. My daughter received this book for her 1st birthday and loved it. She will be 2 in one month and she still loves the book. It has held up great as well. No problems with tears or anything.

The picture on Amazon is a drawing. The actually book is different. The clicker on the top has no ball on it, so it is hard for little hands to click. They finally get it, but what’s on the picture would have been a lot easier to use.
The content of the book itself is good. One complaint is that there is only one spot for grandparents. All 4 of my son’s grandparents are living, so I can’t get them all in. Some kids may have more too.
