I thought the book would be extremely funny. I mean a wedding photographer writing about the weddings they did. The book had its moments. There was more than a few times I laughed aloud. Try & buy the book used. I read many books, so maybe I am too fussy.

    I give 2 & 1/2 stars. My opinion only.

Not a bad book, although it seemed as though the author almost had nothing positive to say about shooting weddings and I began to wonder why she does them in the first place. There were a lot of humorous stories from weddings she has shot though that made it more readable.

Having a wedding, had a wedding, been in a wedding, going to a wedding or thinking about a wedding? I thoroughly enjoyed and breezed through this book. Claire has a lively engaging style of writing, very funny, poignant and biographical to keep thing even more interesting. Had me go pull out my dusty videotape of my wedding(17 years old) and look at it with fresh eyes. Read it, buy a copy for your bestfriend, your mom, your teenage daughter!

It was brilliant to read a memoir by someone in the business. I couldn’t put it down!

I have often considered entering the field of wedding photography and thought this book would give me some insight on the profession. It did much more then that. Claire Lewis did a wonderful job telling stories of her adventures as a wedding photographer, as well as telling the reader about her life journey. I highly recommend this to anybody who is getting married, enjoys the wedding experience, or has ever thought about becoming a wedding photographer. You won’t be disappointed.
