This is a very small book, more of a pamphlet. When I read the reviews, it makes me wonder how much of a kick back they are getting. I buy a lot of books from Amazon and this was a waste.

In “Your Picture Perfect Wedding”, award winning wedding photographer Galina Vitols has teamed up with seasoned writer for national bridal publications Mia Johnson to provide non-specialist general readers with a thoroughly ‘bride & groom friendly’ guide for selecting exactly the right wedding photographer for their very special day. Weddings are such important occasions that a lot of money and planning go into them, vows are exchanged, and a sanctioned life-time commitment put into effect. It’s the photographs taken in documenting this very special event that provide a kind of family heirloom and one that can never simply be re-done if not accomplished properly the first time. “Your Picture Perfect Wedding” lays out all the steps to evaluate and secure an appropriate photographer, the kinds of pictures to expect and require, even what to do with those photos that provide a visual record of such an important and memorable occasion. There’s even a terrific chapter on ‘Finding Love and Great Wedding Photographs – The Second Time Around’. “Your Picture Perfect Wedding” truly lives up to its title and is enthusiastically recommended reading for anyone contemplating matrimony.

This book is amazing! I am recommending it to all the girls I know who are planning a wedding. It covers everything and things you normally wouldn’t think about until it is too late. It is written in a refreshing context and you can tell these two young ladies love what they do! I highly recommend this book to all upcoming brides and their mothers. Thank you so much for sharing in you knowledge and doing it in such an entertaining presentation. A must read!

It is truly a book for both brides and wedding photographers. Its step-by-step helpfulness and personal commentary has you feeling like you’re actually having a personal dialogue with two people who know their subject thoroughly. It is beautifully edited and written, the pictures are incredible and both Mia and Galina treat the reader with a much appreciated honesty and respect, something that seems to be missing in most ‘how to’ books of this day and age. Both Galina and Mia stress the importance of teamwork, trust and a best laid out plan for both wedding photographer and bride and they couldn’t have made the subject of wedding photography any simpler to understand. Brides should never see a wedding photographer without reading this book first. It should be required reading for every bride-to-be. A truly magnificent and entertaining read!
