This is a huge book – poorly laid out in an attempt to be artistic. The large pages are mostly white space with small and poorly sized photographs placed throughout. The photos themselves are nice and some are of historical value but the book should be half the size, both in width and length.

What a wonderful collection of images: stunning photographs of people from all walks of life, all religions, all regions in one big, beautiful book about weddings, marriage and love. A unique look at the phenomenon of the wedding… I love it!

I was looking for a unique idea for a guest book for our own wedding and read somewhere the idea of using a coffee table book as a guestbook, and having our guests sign in a real coffee table book, thus making it more interesting than just a book of glib comments from parents’ friends. I found this at a chic bookstore in DUMBO, Brooklyn and thought it was the perfect candidate! Only it was $50! It wasn’t that great…
Then I found it on amazon for a fraction of the cost and decided to order it. It’s still the same wonderful book. The white space that are on some pages are *perfect* for having guests sign! I really expect it to make a great addition to our home in the future, and look forward to having guests sign and share the beautiful book.
